Advanced Navigation theory
Shore-based Course
Equivalent to Advanced YachtMaster
Working with live charts and almanac, This course will take your theory through and past the level expected of a Yachtmaster Offshore candidate. The course works it's way through all elements of tidal theory, Heights, Streams, Secondary ports. Through the navigational elements of Estimated Positions, Curse to Steer, Tidal vectors. An intensive workshop on Pilotage and Passage planning is often seen as the highlight of this course.

Passage Planning
A Specialist Master Class in the art of planning for your Passage
